New Sewer Fee

NOTICE OF NEW SEWER FEE
The City of Greenbrier is implementing a new sewer fee effective July 1, 2025. This fee is necessary to ensure the continued maintenance, improvement, and reliability of our community's sewer system. The continued destruction of the lift station pumps has strained the funds and must be replenished in order to continue providing adequate repairs.
Why this fee is necessary:
• To cover rising operational and maintenance costs for the sewer system.
• To fund essential upgrades and repairs to aging infrastructure.
• To meet current and future regulatory requirements for wastewater treatment.
• To help secure funding for critical water and sewer projects.
How the new fee will affect your bill:
• The fee is a fixed cost of $15.00 per account.
• The new fee will appear on your current bill.

• Consider ways to reduce your water consumption, as sewer charges are often based on water usage.
